on Ubuntu.
What is apport-kde
apport-kde is:
apport automatically collects data from crashed processes and compiles a problem report in /var/crash/. This utilizes the crashdump helper hook provided by the Ubuntu kernel.
This package provides a KDE frontend for browsing and handling the crash reports.
There are three methods to install apport-kde
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install apport-kde Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install apport-kde
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install apport-kde

After updating apt database, We can install apport-kde
