What is anthy-common
anthy-common is:
Anthy is kana-kanji conversion engine for Japanese. It converts hiragana text to mixed kana and kanji. It is implemented as a library and stores private information in ~/.anthy/.
This package provides common dictionary data files.
There are three methods to install anthy-common on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install anthy-common Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install anthy-common using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install anthy-common

After updating apt database, We can install anthy-common using apt by running the following command:
