Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install airspyhf on Ubuntu.
What is airspyhf
airspyhf is:
Airspy HF+ is an open source Software Defined Radio that can receive 9 kHZ to 31 MHz and 60 MHz to 260 MHz. It is a High Speed USB device powered by the USB bus.
This package contains some utility applications.
- airspyhf_gpio
- airspyhf_lib_version
- airspyhf_info: probe device and show configuration
- airspyhf_rx
- airspyhf_calibrate
There are three methods to install airspyhf on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install airspyhf Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install airspyhf using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install airspyhf

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
