What is acedb-other-belvu
acedb-other-belvu is:
This is a transitional package to ease upgrades to the new belvu executable now maintained in the seqtools source package. The belvu executable in the acedb package was unmaintained for years and seqtools contains the maintained code.
There are three methods to install acedb-other-belvu on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install acedb-other-belvu Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install acedb-other-belvu using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install acedb-other-belvu

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
